About Uncommon Grounds

Uncommon Grounds
We thought we'd just show you some of the wonderful things you're missing if you're not at Uncommon Grounds Coffeehouse.

This is the view of the seating area you'll see when you walk in the door.

The huge mirrored back bar, with it's gold leaf and milk enamel woodwork, makes the perfect backdrop for our one-of-a-kind brass espresso machine. All of the bottles are filled with exotic and exciting flavors for your favorite drinks.

When you stop in, don't forget to try our cheesecake or very special fudge cake.

Uncommon Grounds is the Twin City's oldest coffeehouse and the Victorian home that shelters it is even older. Built in 1877 as the country home of a well-heeled family whose main home was downtown on the river, the country left it long ago. The atmosphere, however, stayed.

Enjoy a summer's evening on our wrap around veranda or another of our outdoor seating areas and enjoy the Uptown ambiance. We look forward to seeing you.
